 Description of Treatment Approach:

 Lifestyle changes require support, accountability, and a shift in one's mindset...this cannot be  accomplished in a typical doctor's visit. Health coaches can help you get from the  recommendations made in the office to REAL, lasting results that improve your quality of life.  We also emphasize health beyond the plate and focus on nourishment through primary food.  Primary food consists of all the non-food areas of your life: such as sleep, stress management,  career, exercise, and environment -that impact health just as much as food itself. From the  Inside Out supports bio individuality, which embraces the notion that we are all different, and  based on this principle we find what works best for you. My practice is client centered and the  main focus of my approach is concentrated around the idea of  crowding out …by beginning this  act of crowding out things that are no longer serving you (such as junk foods, unhealthy habits,  limiting mindset etc.) and replacing them with the things that support your health and wellness  goals (healthy foods, consistent habits, positive mindset, etc) you can accomplish anything you  seek to change, and won’t feel deprived while doing so.

 Back in June 2017, when I first moved to Rhode Island from Florida, I was tipping the scales at a  whopping 187 pounds, and at 5’4 that is quite a bit of weight to be carrying around. Even prior to  moving to RI Lisa began mentoring and coaching me as we began developing a plan to help me  adjust and start making positive changes for my new lifestyle. Once I got here, it was full speed  ahead. Lisa helped me plan menus, and even grocery shopped and meal prepped with me.

 Within the first two weeks, I lost 12 pounds, but throughout this journey, I have lost a total of 45  pounds. Lisa has been nothing but a knowledgeable, inspirational coach that backed me every  step of the way during my weight loss/getting healthy journey.
